Optimus Studies
The studies planned for Switzerland encompass a representative nationwide survey of 6,000 ninth grade students and a parent survey for 1,500 parents of these students. In addition to the surveys, a study is to be conducted on organizations that are involved in the area of child protection. Furthermore, in-depth interviews with young people who have been victims of sexual violence are planned.  The individual parts of the study are intended to provide a comprehensive picture of the magnitude of violence, abuse and neglect among young people, quantifying the harm that this has on those affected and the extent to which outreach projects such as victim support programs are able to help these young people.
