Recommendations for reducing sexual violence among teenagers
On behalf of the UBS Optimus Foundation, a team of authors has prepared recommendations dealing with sexual violence among adolescents. The recommendations should provide expert inputs regarding the prevention of sexual violence among adolescents and advance the discussions around this topic. The recommendations are primarily directed towards practitioners and their organisations, as well as politicians, researchers, teachers and parents.
The recommendations for reducing sexual violence among teenagers follow from the results of the Optimus Study Switzerland published in March 2012. Among other things, these results showed that adolescents often experience assaults from acquaintances in roughly the same age group. This finding provided the impetus to draw up practice-oriented recommendations aimed specifically at this issue.
These recommendations are now available in a downloadable brochure format in German, French or Italian.
